Last week, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced the call-up of seven sparring partners to form part of the group of athletes and assist in the preparation of the Olympic Team for the Rio 2016 Games. Among those called up, a list composed of athletes born in 1997 and 1998, is the red-and-black striker Lucas Paquetá, current champion of the São Paulo Junior Football Cup.
The boy, who recently underwent training periods with coach Rogério Micale, will also be observed for the next South American Under-20 Championship, which will be played at the beginning of 2017.

Striker Felipe Vizeu, Flamengo's top scorer in the Brasileirão, is one of the substitutes for the Olympic Team. The athlete would wear the number 21 shirt in case of injury or cut to one of the players called up.
