Flamengo's squad returned to Gávea on Wednesday afternoon for their final training session before facing Coritiba tomorrow at Maracanã. The match, part of the 31st round of the Brazilian Championship, is crucial for the red-and-black team to remain in contention for its sixth title.

The good news of the day was the presence of full-back Luizinho in recreational training. The player, who missed recent training sessions due to groin pain, trained normally and has a good chance of facing Coritiba tomorrow. Luizinho is competing for a spot on the left wing with Fernando, as Juan is suspended. Everton, with pain in his right thigh, did not train and is ruled out.

President Marcio Braga met with the players before training for a lively conversation. He said the conversation was simply to build confidence in the group.
