Luxa avoids commenting on the 2011 State Championship.
The coach admits he has already analyzed the schedule, but prefers to wait until the end of 2010 to discuss the next season.
By From the official website team - inThe Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation (FFERJ) released, last Thursday (November 04.11th), the groups, regulations and schedule for the 2011 Carioca Championship. And, as could be expected, the arbitration meeting became news in Rio de Janeiro clubs. At Flamengo, it was no different. But the Flamengo coach, Vanderlei Luxemburgo, chose not to say much about the upcoming season yet.
\Focused on this year's objectives, Luxa explains that he has already taken a look at the table and done an analysis, but stated that it is necessary to remain calm before talking about 2011 at such a crucial moment in the 2010 Brazilian Championship.
\"Of course I've already looked at the table. I'm a football man. So I've already taken a look. But I don't want to talk about next year before this year is over. I want to be calm first, away from this uncomfortable situation and with a spot in the Copa Sudamericana," he said.
There will be 16 teams, divided into two groups of eight, vying for the title. Cabofriense and Nova Iguaçu return to the elite division, while Friburguense and Tigres will compete in Série B. Flamengo is in Group A, alongside Vasco, América, Boavista, Volta Redonda, Nova Iguaçu, Americano, and Resende. Group B consists of Botafogo, Fluminense, Madureira, Bangu, Olaria, Cabofriense, Macaé, and Duque de Caxias.
