Luxa reinforces his appeal to Flamengo fans.
In a good mood, he asks for help from the women with "little screams" in the stands in Volta Redonda.

Coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo took advantage of Friday's (November 05.11th) press conference, after the evening training session in Volta Redonda, to reinforce his request to the Flamengo Nation: come to the stadiums. This Sunday (November 07.11th), the team from Gávea faces Atlético-PR at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, and the coach wants his 12th player in the stands.
Luxa admits that Flamengo ends up missing the Maracanã a bit and acknowledges that the fans are also more accustomed to matches at the "World's Largest Stadium," but asks that the Flamengo supporters make a small effort to support the team at the Estádio da Cidadania this round, and at the Engenhão in the others.
"We miss the Maracanã. Flamengo is a team that needs the warmth of the fans. I want to call on the fans to come to the game, to make this stadium our home. Flamengo's fans make a huge difference. They have to come and help the team, be the team's center forward. They help put the ball in the net. We are playing decisive matches. It's an uncomfortable situation, it's true that we are five points away from the relegation zone, but we need to get out of there and fight for a spot in the Copa Sudamericana," he pleaded.
The club will run a promotion for female fans, similar to what it did in the game against Atlético-GO. Women wearing Flamengo jerseys, accompanied by a man with a ticket, will not pay for entry. For Luxemburgo, this female support is also fundamental.
"It'll be great to have the girls here helping and cheering for the team. It's easy to spot the female fans. They make those little screams. I know how to identify screams because I have seven women (laughs). I hope they come here, scream a lot, and bother the Atlético-PR team," he added.
