Luxemburgo gives clues about the team that should face Avaí
In tactical training, coach selects Diego Maurício and Val Baiano as the starting attacking duo

The relaxed atmosphere of the group and the new developments from Vanderlei Luxemburgo were the highlights of Flamengo's training session this Saturday (October 09.10th) in Florianópolis. The red-and-black team held its last training session before the match against Avaí on Sunday (October 10.10th) at Ressacada, at Figueirense's Training Center.
The activity was marked by Flamengo fans' smiles, especially during the warm-up led by physical trainer Antônio Mello. After that, the group had a long talk with coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, before going onto the field – and with some surprises.
Just like the day before the game against Atlético-GO, there was no recreational activity. Luxa led a tactical training session and gave indications of the team that should take the field against Avaí. Diogo, with a sprained left ankle, is out. Toró, recovered from injury, is available, but is not expected to start.
Even with the returns of Ronaldo Angelim and Jean, the center-back pairing should remain the same as in the midweek match: David and Welinton. In midfield, Renato, who served a suspension against Atlético, returns to the team in place of Petkovic. Up front, the main changes: without the injured Diogo, Diego Maurício returns to the team, while Val Baiano, who scored his first goal for Flamengo in the last round, will have the chance to start in place of Deivid.
