Luxemburgo repeats team in new tactical training
The red-black coach has already defined the team that will face Vasco, on Sunday, at Engenhão
By From the official website team - inThe week of preparation for the derby against Vasco da Gama on Sunday at Engenhão Stadium is coming to an end. This Friday, coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo led another tactical session at Ninho do Urubu, the club's training center in Vargem Grande.
Once again, there were no changes to the lineup during the training session. The coach repeated the lineup from Thursday's training session, with Marcelo Lomba, Leonardo Moura, David, Welinton, and Juan; Willians, Maldonado, Kleberson, and Renato; Diego Maurício and Deivid. The reserves trained with Vinícius, Galhardo, Jean, Ronaldo Angelim, and Rodrigo Alvim; Toró, Fernando, Fierro, and Marquinhos; Diogo and Cristian Borja.
Set pieces were once again a focus of the activity. Afterward, the players returned to working on finishing. Galhardo, Leo Moura, Renato, and Petkovic, as usual, also practiced free kicks. New in the commission
Jaime de Almeida Filho, a former Flamengo player from the 70s and son of Jaime de Almeida, who also enjoyed success with Flamengo, both playing and coaching, is the newest member of Flamengo's coaching staff. Hired as an assistant to Vanderlei Luxemburgo, he will serve as the team's Technical Observer, tasked with analyzing the youth teams—both Flamengo's and their rivals'—and building a bridge with the senior team.
