Luxembourg values Flamengo without fear of attacking.
The coach says that this is the kind of attitude he wants to see from his team until the end of the Brazilian Championship.

That is the instruction given by coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo to the Flamengo team in the upcoming rounds of the Brazilian Championship. The Flamengo manager believes that the team's attitude, especially in the second half of Wednesday's (November 03.11rd) match against Ceará, should be valued.
For Luxemburgo, the draw wasn't all bad, even though the team took the lead twice. According to him, any point should be valued at this stage of the championship, especially against an opponent with a 70% winning record at home.
"Today we played like Flamengo. The stadium was packed, but we played as if we were at home. This is the Flamengo I want, without being intimidated. If we had this result at the beginning of the competition, it would certainly be good. But since we are in a different championship, we'll keep going," said the coach, who sees the team improving with each round.
"We have to value the point. Ceará has been winning points here against everyone. We are making progress. We finished the round as we started," he noted.
Luxa also analyzed the so-called 3D attack, formed by Diogo, Diego Maurício, and Deivid. According to him, the lineup was correct, but with some reservations. For the coach, there was a lack of movement in the first half.
"We fit into their game. We lacked movement in the first half. Deivid moved well, but Diego and Diogo didn't. I even told them they had to get away from the marking, like Magno Alves and Geraldo from Ceará. I emphasized that at halftime. In the second half, I wanted to change things, I brought on Val and Marquinhos, and the team improved. I moved Renato forward and brought on Fernando to close down the defense; everything was going smoothly, but then we conceded a goal. That's football," he concluded.
