At Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA), pre-workout training was led by physical trainers Daniel Gonçalves and Roberto Oliveira, along with EXOS consultant Michael Minthorne. Muscle activation and injury prevention exercises were included, complemented by a warm-up on the pitch at Field 4. Ball training then began.
The activity was divided into two parts. Initially, starting from the midfield, Zé Ricardo guided the group on building offensive plays, emphasizing movement during passing, with routes defined according to the opponent's defensive positioning. Next came collective training, which included stoppages by the coach to make adjustments to positioning and outline the team that will take the field against Grêmio.
The match against the team from Rio Grande do Sul, valid for the 13th round of the Brazilian Championship, will take place this Thursday (13), at Ilha do Urubu. The match will start at 19:30 pm.
