In the morning of this Friday (30), the athletes continued training with a view to the red-black debut in the Brazilian Championship on the day April 14, against Vitória. Due to the changes in the Football Department of Mais Querido, assistant coach Maurício Barbieri led the training session that took place on Field 4 of Ninho do Urubu.

Before hitting the field, physical training at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA) prepared the squad for ball training. Exercises were complemented by a warm-up, which included agility courses and a muscle stretching routine.

Next came ball training. Initially, the technical aspect received the main focus. Divided into three groups, they worked on maintaining possession under pressure and movement to create passing options, as well as defensive aspects such as interceptions and closing down spaces when approaching the ball. Group activity on a reduced-size pitch concluded the session.

The work will continue this Saturday (01), with training in the morning at Ninho do Urubu.
