On the day of the presentation at Ninho do Urubu, with the arrival of reinforcement Renê to fill the left-back position alongside Peruvian Miguel Trauco, Flamengo finalized preparations to face Grêmio in their opening match of the Primeira Liga Cup. Officially announced earlier in the week, the player underwent his first medical exams as a Flamengo player and passed the FMS test, which evaluated his functional movements.

On the pitch, coach Zé Ricardo led a tactical training session following the pre-training work carried out at Flamengo's Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA), outlining the team that will start against the team from Rio Grande do Sul. The activity focused on the defensive aspect, with attack versus defense exercises in a reduced field.
