This Wednesday (15), the red-black squad concluded its preparation to face América-MG in the second round of the Primeira Liga Cup. After beating Grêmio 2-0 in its debut, Mais Querido is leading group B of the competition and is looking to maintain its first place in the clash against the Minas Gerais team, which will take place this Thursday (16).

During the activity at Ninho do Urubu, the athletes performed specific physical training, initially at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA) and then on the pitch at Field 3. Afterwards, Zé Ricardo led tactical activities in offensive and defensive set pieces, in addition to analyzing the opponent's characteristics with the players.

In the afternoon, the group will travel to Brasília, where they will face América-MG. The match will be held at Bezerrão Stadium, with kickoff starting at 21:30 p.m.
