Back to work! After ten days off, the Flamengo squad returned to the Ninho do Urubu training center and resumed activities in preparation for the second half of 2018. Maurício Barbieri will have three weeks off to work with his players.

The athletes arrived at Ninho do Urubu gradually and soon underwent examinations at CEP FLA. The coaching staff took the opportunity to conduct strength, power, and posture tests, as well as to determine the athletes' levels of muscle fatigue.

Still at the CEP FLA training center, the squad performed muscle activation exercises with physical trainer Diogo Linhares. This was the last session before the group went to Field 4.

On the pitch, coach Maurício Barbieri used the start of training to adjust the positioning of the defensive system and then worked with all the players in a small-sided game.

After completing all the scheduled tests for the athletes at CEP FLA, midfielder Diego did specific work with the coaching staff on Field 4. Preparation will continue firmly at Ninho do Urubu this Tuesday (26).
