On the morning of this Wednesday (31), at Ninho do Urubu, the red-black squad continued their preparation for the classic next Sunday (04), against Botafogo.
To kick off the session, coach Vitor Hugo led the goalkeepers in an agility drill on the adjacent field designated for goalkeepers. Meanwhile, the remaining players participated in pre-training exercises at Flamengo's Center of Excellence in Performance (CEP FLA). Following this, warm-up and stretching exercises took place on field 5.

Guided by EXOS consultant Michael Minthorne, Éverton performed specific physical exercises to achieve optimal conditioning for his return to the pitch. With the same objective, forwards Orlando Berrío and Thiago Santos ran laps around the pitch at varying speeds. Their activities concluded with ball work, coordinated by physiotherapist Fred Manhães.

Simultaneously, Zé Ricardo led the ball training session, which focused primarily on improving technical aspects, especially regarding passing. In addition to midfielders Darío Conca and Diego, Éverton also participated in the session after his specific exercises.

The squad will return on Thursday morning (01) to continue preparations for the derby.
