Another day of hard work at Ninho do Urubu. The preseason continues at full speed at the training center and the Flamengo squad worked full time this Thursday (28). Coach Maurício Barbieri is taking advantage of the period without games to prepare the team for the rest of the season.
Early in the morning, the players went straight to Field 4 and began their warm-up work with physical trainers Diogo Linhares and Fábio Eiras. The activity was divided into two circuits and preceded the ball training. Forward Geuvânio performed specific exercises with scientific coordinator Daniel Gonçalves.
Following the scheduled program, coach Maurício Barbieri led a tactical training session in a reduced space. The 36-year-old coach took the opportunity to give instructions to his players and adjust their positioning when building up play. After that, some players took the opportunity to improve their shooting accuracy.
The schedule continued in the afternoon and the athletes carried out all the training at CEP FLA, with guidance from members of the club's technical staff. Flamengo returns to training this Friday (29), in the afternoon.
