Those who live in Rio de Janeiro often say that América is the second team of all Cariocas. Therefore, this Saturday (22.01), it can be said that the duel between the most beloved of the Marvelous City will take place. After all, the biggest fan base in the state and the country, Flamengo, will face the Alvirubro da Rua Campos Sales, at 17 pm, at Giullite Coutinho Stadium, in a game valid for the second round of the competition.

A traditional club that enjoys the support of all fans, América is seen by the red-and-black players as a formidable opponent. Midfielder Fernando recalls the glorious history of the Tijuca team to emphasize that this weekend's game is a classic in Rio de Janeiro football.
\
"It's a very good game. There are players who have made history at América, like Edu, Zico's brother. Every Carioca says that América is their second team, so it will be a well-watched and very important game. It has an important history. We will study the opposing team well to play a game as good as, or even better than, Wednesday's," he said.
\
Flamengo has already decided on the match: they will take to the field with practically the same lineup as in their opening game against Volta Redonda last Wednesday (19.01) at Engenhão. The only change is Marquinhos replacing Fierro, who is in Chile dealing with personal issues. Regardless, Renato wants to see the team with a lot of determination fighting for the three points.
\
"It's a good team. América's name is strong here in Rio, it has had great players and coaches, Romário for example, so it deserves our respect. It's a strong team in the State Championship, it always causes problems and we're going to face it like a classic. It's a team that plays at home, that also has objectives, so we're going to try to go in strong and determined to win, like on Wednesday," he said.
\
While Flamengo debuted with a victory in the first round, América drew with Boavista. Both teams are in Group A of the Guanabara Cup, the first round of the 2011 Campeonato Carioca.
