The Flamengo midfielder has been training separately from the group to strengthen the knee he injured last season.
Aware that this effort is necessary to achieve better results throughout the year, Maldo doesn't complain. On the contrary, he says he's satisfied to be preparing in the best possible way to win titles again wearing the Flamengo jersey.
"I'm doing very well. I'm training separately because I first need to strengthen the muscles in my leg, which I injured, so I can then focus on the technical aspects. It's a normal procedure, but I'm feeling good and preparing for the Carioca Championship matches," he said.
The midfielder also believes that these days in the city of Paraná can make all the difference later on. For him, taking advantage of the facilities and the opportunity to be united with the group is fundamental for the Flamengo team.
"This preseason is proving extremely important for us. Everyone has a chance to show their quality, and that makes the group even more confident. The facilities here are very good, and we are all taking full advantage of them," he concluded.
