After dyeing his hair red and black, Marcelinho Paraíba found the net in matches against Fluminense and Figueirense. Now, against São Paulo, the player hopes to maintain his strong scoring average and help his new strike partner, Josiel, score plenty of goals.

"We have different characteristics. I move around more, and he's more fixed in the box. It's good to have this reference point, and we can exploit our strengths, also creating spaces for those coming from behind. I hope he debuts by scoring a lot of goals for Flamengo."

According to Marcelinho Paraíba, Josiel has already impressed in training with the quality of his finishing.

"We trained for a couple of days and already noticed Josiel's finishing ability. We'll work on getting him into the game and helping him perform at his best against São Paulo. It's great to play alongside the current top scorer in the Brazilian Championship."
