The Flamengo squad held their final training session this Friday morning before traveling to São Paulo, where they will face Santos on Sunday at Vila Belmiro.

Caio Júnior organized a small-sided game training session. The coach repeated the lineup from yesterday's tactical training, with Léo Moura in midfield and Toró on the right wing. The starting team trained with Bruno; Jailton, Fábio Luciano and Ronaldo Angelim; Toró, Cristian, Ibson, Léo Moura and Eltinho; Maxi and Obina. The reserves won the session 1-0, with a beautiful goal from young Erick Flores.

The player who helped the reserve team win the practice match was Marcelinho Paraíba. A day after being presented, the new Flamengo signing had a great performance in the training session. The player played as a second striker and almost scored a spectacular goal with a lob.

After training, Caio Júnior praised Marcelinho Paraíba's quality and stated that the club is racing against time to register the player for Sunday's match.

"You can see from the first touch that he's a special player. The board is trying to get him registered, and if he's eligible, I'm counting on him against Santos. Even if it's just to come on during the game."
