Márcio Araújo completes 100 games for Flamengo: "A dream"
Midfielder celebrates milestone achieved in friendly against Desportiva-ES alongside Rodrigo Caetano and Gerson Biscotto

In the victory over Desportiva Ferroviária in the friendly last Sunday (11.10), Márcio Araújo had another reason to celebrate. The athlete completed 100 games defending the Sacred Mantle and celebrated alongside his son, Isaac, who went to the George Helal Training Center this Monday (12.10), Children's Day.
The midfielder, who scored the goal that won the 2014 state title, received a commemorative shirt with the number one hundred on the back from the football director, Rodrigo Caetano, and the vice-president of the department, Gerson Biscotto, and spoke about the feeling of reaching the milestone.
"I'm very happy to reach 100 games, as it was a dream. It's an honor, I can't put into words how much this milestone means. I hope I can stay longer and continue this path," said the player.
Rodrigo Caetano praised Márcio Araújo for his dedication while wearing the red-and-black jersey. "It's a joy to hand this jersey over to Márcio. He's an exemplary, disciplined player who has our complete trust," said the director, followed by Biscotto. "I want these 100 games to become 200, 300, 400. He's always given his all, and we want him to continue that way," he concluded.
