President Márcio Braga was in Gávea this morning and took the opportunity to welcome coach Cuca, with whom he spoke at length on the field. During his conversation with the coach, the club president said he was certain that the choice to lead the team this season could not have been better.

"Cuca has worked here before and knows Flamengo well; he shares my style too. He knows it's different being at Flamengo, that here it's all about grit, resilience, and determination to overcome obstacles. Football is always 11 against 11, but the difference is what Flamengo represents. We're very well served with Cuca at the helm," the club president praised.

Márcio Braga stated that he considers Flamengo the favorite in all the competitions it participates in, but made it clear that football is really decided on the field.

- I've heard in the press that Flamengo has a chance of winning all four competitions it will compete in this year (State Championship, Copa do Brasil, Campeonato Brasileiro, and Copa Sudamericana). It's going to be easy, right? Apparently, it's going to be easy... We have to work hard, with discipline and determination to achieve our goals.
