Marcio Braga goes to training to give strength to the players
President says now is the time for unity.
By Flamengo Archive - inPresident Marcio Braga attended training this morning in Gávea to encourage the players after their sixth consecutive winless match in the Brazilian Championship. Braga met with the squad and stated that now is the time for everyone to come together to turn things around.
"I was talking to Andrade and reminding him that this wasn't the first, nor the last time we've faced difficult times. It's through unity that we'll overcome this difficult time. The team is strong and capable of turning things around. We have to pray and ask for protection from Saint Jude Thaddeus, because he's always been by our side."
Regarding the incident at this morning's training session, Flamengo has already filed a criminal complaint with the 14th Leblon Police Station against the rioters who invaded Gávea and threw a bomb onto the field, ending the last training session before the match against Goiás, tomorrow, at Serra Dourada.
