The Brazilian Navy and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have established an important partnership for the development of women's soccer. Through this initiative, Flamengo will compete in the Campeonato Carioca and Campeonato Brasileiro alongside the Navy's women's soccer team, which boasts standout players such as Tânia Maranhão (3SG-RM2-EP Tânia Maria Pereira Ribeiro) and Maycon (3SG-RM2-EP Andréia dos Santos), among others. 

For the Navy, the participation of its athletes allows for more effective preparation for military championships, such as the 6th Military World Games, to be held in Korea. The team is the World Champion of the last edition of the Games, held in Rio de Janeiro. For Flamengo, the partnership complies with Provisional Measure 671, approved by the Federal Senate, and allows the Mais Querido to contribute to the development of the sport.  

The athletes will wear the Flamengo Regatta Club's Sacred Mantle, featuring the Navy's coat of arms and name, as their uniform. The partnership contributes to the future of women's soccer in Brazil, fostering the development of new talent and ensuring the sport's promotion and practice.

The partnership will be formalized and officially announced next Thursday, July 16, at 11 a.m., at the Almirante Adalberto Nunes Physical Education Center (CEFAN), in the presence of Brazilian Navy officials and the board of directors of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. The team's athletes and coaching staff will also be introduced at the event, along with the new uniform.
