Marlos Moreno is the first reinforcement for the red-black team for the 2018 season

Flamengo confirmed, this Tuesday (16), the signing of Colombian striker Marlos Moreno as reinforcement for the professional team in 2018. Aged 21, the player has a contract with Manchester City, was at Girona, in Spain, and arrives at Flamengo on loan until December 31, 2018.
A product of Colombia's Atlético Nacional, Marlos made his professional debut in 2014, in a match that included many of his youth teammates. He made his starting debut in 2015, in the derby between Atlético Nacional and Deportivo Cali, scoring one of the goals in his team's 3-0 victory. That same year, Marlos won the Colombian League Cup, and in 2016, he won the Colombian Championship.
His greatest achievement in his career so far was the Copa Libertadores da América in 2016. With three goals and four assists, he was selected for the ideal team of the competition.
From Colombia to England. In 2016, Marlos Moreno was transferred to Manchester City, but was soon loaned to Deportivo La Coruña in Spain to gain more experience in European football. After that season, he was loaned again to Girona, also from Spain, his last club before Flamengo.
Marlos was first called up to the Colombian national team at the age of 19. He was part of the campaign that took the country to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, alongside Cuéllar and Berrío. The athlete's presentation will begin at 18 p.m. this Tuesday at CT George Helal, known as Ninho do Urubu.
