Flamengo's team should have a new face in the match next Sunday (November 28.11th) against Cruzeiro in Volta Redonda. Midfielder Marquinhos, who has been standing out whenever he comes on during games, should get his first opportunity to start this weekend.

This Thursday (November 25.11th), coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo led a team training session at Ninho do Urubu, where he selected the starting lineup for the match. Without the injured Deivid, Marquinhos earned a spot in the attack. The expectation was that the number 99 would be able to return to training with his teammates, but he didn't recover in time and is ruled out for the match. Diogo, who started against Guarani, was retained. Diego Maurício, who scored the winning goal against Guarani, remains among the reserves.

The starting lineup consisted of Marcelo Lomba, Leo Moura, Wellinton, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Maldonado, Willians, Kleberson, and Renato; Marquinhos and Diogo. Later, Luxa tested the Serbian player Petkovic in place of Kleberson. The reserve team trained with Paulo Victor, Galhardo, David, Jean, and Rodrigo Alvim; Correa, Fierro, Petkovic (Kleberson), and Negueba; Diego Maurício and Val Baiano.
