Striker hopes to be included in the squad to face Santos on Sunday at Vila Belmiro

After a morning tactical training session, coach Joel Santana led a training session this afternoon at Ninho do Urubu in Vargem Grande. The starting lineup was the same as the morning session: Bruno; Leonardo Moura, Irineu, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Jaílton, Cristian, Ibson, and Roger; and Renato Augusto and Obina. The player who earned a chance in the second half was Argentine Maxi Biancucci, who set up the play that led to Ibson's goal. The forward made no secret of his eagerness to be included in the squad for the match against Santos on Sunday at Vila Belmiro.

"I'm very excited, but I'm trying to stay calm. Of course, I'm ready to come in and help the team. I want to win over the coach, my teammates, and the fans. I'll always do my best to win," said Maxi.

Having already settled in with his teammates, the Argentine is betting that his adaptation to the team will also be quick.

"It's not difficult to adapt to Brazilian football. I'll be able to do it soon. I understand my teammates well, and football has a universal language."
