Out of the squad since the match against Goiás on August 26, Argentine striker Maxi returns to the team this Sunday against Juventude in Caxias do Sul. Clearly not in top physical shape, he's unlikely to play the full 90 minutes, but the joy of returning after six matches away will outweigh any limitations, the player assures.

"I'm ready to play, but I don't know for how long. I'll go out on the field and give my best as long as I'm able. If I feel like I can't run anymore, I'll ask to be substituted," commented Maxi, who was about to return before the match against Inter-RS, but ended up feeling pain in his right thigh again.

In addition to being happy to be able to play again, Maxi celebrated the return of the duo with Souza, which had been working well: "Souza is a great striker and our styles fit together. I hope we can achieve the same chemistry as before. Beating Juventude will be very important for Flamengo."
