On Thursday night, Flamengo drew 2-2 with Goiás, at Serra Dourada, in a game valid for the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship. 

The game

The first half was evenly balanced. Mengão started better and could have taken the lead with Pablo Marí, who headed the ball against the post. Goiás also had good chances, but goalkeeper César made some good saves and held the score to 0-0.

In the second half, Mengão came back strong and took a 2-0 lead with goals from Gabigol and Rodrigo Caio. Goiás pulled one back with a goal from Rafael Moura and tied the match in stoppage time with Michael, when Flamengo was ten men down (César was sent off). The Esmeraldino's second goal, however, came after a refereeing error, which failed to call a foul by Rafael Moura on Filipe Luís in the Flamengo attack. And it ended: 2-2.

The Mais Querido returns to the field on Sunday at 16 p.m. to face Corinthians. The match will be played at Maracanã Stadium.
