Mengão holds final training session before facing Vasco in the Carioca Championship

After winning the Brazilian Super Cup for the second time, Flamengo turns its attention to the Campeonato Carioca. This Wednesday (14), the red-black squad carried out the last training session before the duel against Vasco, which takes place tomorrow (15), at 19 pm, at Maracanã. It is worth remembering that Mais Querido, in advance, has already guaranteed classification for the semifinals of the competition.
Coach Rogério Ceni led a technical and tactical session on the training center's field. Striker Pedro and midfielder Thiago Maia continue their respective transition and recovery sessions.
Flamengo and Vasco have faced each other 412 times, with the Gávea club having the advantage. Flamengo has won 156 times, drawn 119 times, and lost 137 times. In the last meeting between the teams, in last year's Brazilian Championship, Flamengo won 2-0 at Maracanã, with goals from Gabigol and Bruno Henrique.
