São Sebastião holiday with a lot of work at Ninho do Urubu. On the morning of this Friday (20), Mengão carried out a tactical activity under the command of Mister Vitor Pereira. The red-black team faces Nova Iguaçu tomorrow (21), at 16 pm, at Maracanã, for the third round of the Carioca Championship.

The Mais Querido has 7 points and is currently the leader of the Guanabara Cup. It's worth noting that the Gávea club debuted in the competition before the others, against Audax, in a match brought forward from the fifth round.

Flamengo and Nova Iguaçu have faced each other 11 times, with a clear advantage for Flamengo. Flamengo has won 9 times, drawn once, and lost only once. In last year's Cariocão Championship, Flamengo thrashed the team from Baixada Fluminense 5-0 at Raulino de Oliveira Stadium. Gustavo Henrique, Arrascaeta, Gabi, Pedro, and Diego scored the goals.
