Mengão continues preparing for the classic against Vasco, on Sunday
After nine months recovering from injury, Bruno Henrique returns to training normally with the red-black squad

Another day of hard work at Ninho do Urubu. Coach Vitor Pereira led another tactical activity this Friday (3) aiming at the classic against Vasco, scheduled for Sunday (5), at 18:10 pm, at Maracanã, for the 10th round of the Campeonato Carioca. Mais Querido is in first place with 23 points and, if they beat their rival, they will guarantee the Taça Guanabara title.
As Mengão continues its preparations for the derby against Vasco, important and joyful news has taken over Ninho do Urubu. It concerns striker Bruno Henrique, who has taken another important step toward returning to the field. The number 27 has begun physical preparation and is gradually beginning to participate in activities with the red-and-black squad.
It's worth noting that Bruno Henrique hasn't played since June 2022, when he suffered a serious injury after a challenge with Cuiabá defender Marllon in the 2-0 Brasileirão victory. He required surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament, lateral collateral ligament, and posterior lateral corner of his right knee.
