The game

In the first ten minutes, the two teams closely studied each other, with Al-Hilal maintaining greater possession. In the 17th minute, the Arab team opened the scoring. Al-Burayak crossed low from the left, and Al-Dawsari fired a free kick from the edge of the box to score. Flamengo gradually began to dominate the game in attack and created a few opportunities. But the first half ended with Al-Hilal ahead: 1-0.

In the second half, Mengão came back strong and tied the game after just three minutes. The red-and-black team passed the ball around from foot to foot, with Gabigol finding Bruno Henrique in the box. The number 27 burst forward and passed it to Arrascaeta, who tapped it into the back of the net: 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Mengão turned the game around! Diego passed to Rafinha on the right. The full-back delivered a beautiful cross to Bruno Henrique's head, who simply tapped it into the net.

Mengão continued to suffocate Al-Hilal and extended their lead in the 36th minute. Diego, who had started the match very well, received the ball at the edge of the box and passed it to Bruno Henrique on the left. The striker entered the box and attempted a cross for Gabigol, but Al-Bulayhi deflected it into his own net: 3-1. And there was no time for anything else: a comeback victory for the red-and-blacks!
