Mengão beat Junior Barranquilla 3-1 and secured first place in Group A of the Copa Libertadores

In the last round of the Libertadores group stage, Mengão beat Junior Barranquilla 3-1 on Wednesday night (21), at Maracanã. Rubro-Negro's goals were scored by Thuler, Lincoln and Bruno Henrique. With the result, Mais Querido secured first place in Group A and will have the advantage of playing at home in the second match of the round of XNUMX of the competition.

The game
Flamengo started the match with the majority of possession, exchanging passes in their attacking midfield. Five minutes in, Mengão had their first dangerous play of the match. Matheuzinho made a good run down the right and passed to Lincoln, who finished over the bar. Then, in the 9th minute, Flamengo opened the scoring. Dominant throughout the match, Rubro-Negro defeated the Colombian team without any scares and maintained their 100% record at Maraca, in the Libertadores.
