In the Rio classic of the 11th round of the Brasileirão, Flamengo beat Fluminense 1-0, on Sunday afternoon (23), at Maracanã, and remained in the isolated lead of the competition with 24 points. Pedro, from a penalty, scored the goal that gave Mengão the victory.

The game
The derby began with a fierce battle for possession. When Flamengo tried to attack, Fluminense often stopped the play with fouls.
