Due to personal issues, Michael didn't show up with the group on Flamengo's first day of training this offseason. But he didn't fall behind his teammates, making up for lost time, and the next day he was on the field undergoing physiological evaluations and beginning his training for the second half of the season.

The supporter worked hard and, with his batteries recharged, was praised by physical trainer Toninho Oliveira. A fact that Michael celebrated after training this Monday (21.06), at Ninho do Urubu.

"I came back with renewed energy. Unfortunately, I had personal setbacks that prevented me from being here on my first day of work, but I returned soon after and didn't miss much. I started training with full energy and was even praised for my effort," he said.

Michael also believes the group will be at its best by the end of this offseason. He believes the team is fully capable of returning to top form in the match against Botafogo on July 14th, which will be the club's first official match after the World Cup.

"This period will be important for the group to get back to playing together and regaining their chemistry. Furthermore, everyone will be focused solely on training, and this will help keep the group in shape and ready to restart the Brazilian championship at a high level," he concluded.
