Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center continues to attract the attention of high-performance athletes. After Ibson uses the club's new equipment, on the afternoon of this Friday (04), UFC fighter Rogério Minotouro went to CEP FLA to undergo physical evaluations, aiming at his next fight, on May 14, in Curitiba.
The experienced athlete, who has a UFC record of 21 wins and 7 losses, and, as a boxer, a gold medal at the 2006 South American Games and a bronze at the 2007 Pan American Games, was impressed with the new structure, at the George Helal Training Center, in Vargem Grande.
"This is my first time here. The Performance Excellence Center has very specific equipment. I'm really enjoying it. The space is approved. It's one of the most modern centers in the world. I did tests I've never done before, or even seen before. Plus, Dr. Tannure (head of Flamengo's Medical Department) is a longtime friend, he knows a lot about what he does, and he inspires a lot of confidence," said the fighter.
