Next Wednesday (July 14.07), Flamengo will finally return to the field for an official match. The team from Gávea will face rival Botafogo at 21 pm at Maracanã in a match valid for the eighth round of the Brazilian Championship. A difficult task right after the return to the competition after the break for the World Cup.

But no one at Rubro-Negro wants to hear about difficulties and pessimism. The mood within the group is one of confidence and a strong desire to prove the team's worth in the derby. And there's no better way to achieve that than winning a game surrounded by high expectations. That's what midfielder Willians thinks.

"Rogério Lourenço agreed on the team when we returned to Rio de Janeiro. The training in Itu also helped us a lot. We're growing and we hope not to have any problems against Botafogo. This is the right time," he said.

This Sunday (11.07), the players were given a day off after an intense week of training. The squad will return on Monday (12.07), at 15 pm, in Gávea and will carry out the last training session before the game on Tuesday (13.07), also at 15 pm.
