Earlier this week, Flamengo full-back and captain Leonardo Moura, visited the children at the Pro-Child Cardiac Institute, in Botafogo, and left the place without hiding his happiness at the affection he received from the children. This affection is repeated daily on the streets and after Flamengo training sessions in Gávea. The player is one of the most sought-after by the young fans, and he appreciates it.

Father of two girls, Isabella, who celebrated her birthday last Saturday, and Maria Eduarda, Leo is used to dealing with children and guarantees that this support is an extra motivation in a week as decisive as the one before Flamengo and Vasco.

"I'm happy that the kids like me. I've always been like this: humble, I like to reciprocate this affection and I believe that this is very important. It gives positive energy, even closer to a classic," he said.

Aware of his responsibility as captain and one of the team's leaders, Leo believes he has represented the club's image well in his five years at the club and promises to continue doing everything he can to honor Flamengo's colors.

"I know how much we represent not only on but also off the field, and that's the kind of example I try to set. I always try to honor the club and represent it in the best way possible. I know I'm an idol to many children, and that motivates me," he added.
