The player first joined Flamengo in 2008 during the Brazilian Championship. Since then, he has played 225 games and scored 33 goals for Flamengo. In these matches, Everton has scored 39 Carioca derbies and six goals.

The first time he scored was against Vasco in the 2015 Super Series Tournament. In official matches, the goal came against Botafogo in a 3-3 draw at the Luso Brasileiro stadium in the 2016 Brazilian Championship.
