Flamengo won and convinced. After the 3-0 victory against Boavista This Saturday (09) in Volta Redonda, coach Muricy Ramalho celebrated the effectiveness of the new game scheme. With the return of Mancuello, Flamengo played with two creative midfielders (the Argentine paired with Alan Patrick), created and maintained possession of the ball.

"The strategy was predictable. Open play works in some games, but it's always good to have alternatives. Mancuello and Alan Patrick are doing well, which made things much easier during the week. The team had a good rhythm, that's what's important," he explained.

The coach was full of praise for his players and highlighted Marcelo Cirino, who scored for the third consecutive game.

"Cirino is a truly rare player, with speed. He scores a lot of goals. He worked hard the whole time, and we're happy with the victory," he concluded.

The Most Beloved returns to the field next Sunday (17), 16 pm, against Bangu, in Macaé.
