Muricy leads the tactical team in the first training session this Wednesday

The Flamengo squad returned to preseason training in Mangaratiba for another day of double training sessions. The activity began with the goalkeepers training separately with their coach, Victor Hugo. Nixon and Arthur Henrique trained separately in physical-technical drills, and Marcelo Cirino and Dumas also trained separately in physical training. The remaining players on the squad warmed up.

Afterwards, Muricy Ramalho led a tactical training session in which the goalkeepers played with gloves, being able to use their hands. The teams were formed by Paulo Victor; Rodinei, Wallace, Juan and Jorge; Márcio Araújo, Willian Arão and Alan Patrick; Éverton, Emerson and Guerrero. The other team consisted of Alex; Pará, Antonio Carlos, César Martins and Chiquinho; Jonas, Canteros and Jajá; Gabriel, Thiago Santos and Douglas Baggio. After that, this second team practiced defensive movement.

Before the end of training, the players practiced set pieces and positioning in the penalty area, with rehearsed plays. Emerson and Guerrero took penalties, as did Pará, César Martins, Jajá, Jonas, Baggio, Gabriel, and Chiquinho. Wallace and Baggio did separate physical training, and the others did stretching exercises.

Afternoon period
In the afternoon, the squad did functional training in the gym. Only the goalkeepers worked on the field, but afterwards they also did their part with equipment to finish the day.
