After the training session, defender César Martins, who had a great performance against Fluminense, spoke to journalists at the press conference. The defender celebrated Sunday's victory and praised the team's attitude on the field.

"It's a huge boost. Winning the Fluminense derby away from Rio de Janeiro was fantastic. The way we finished, with two players less, marking and running, was very rewarding," he stated.

César Martins also praised his teammates in his position on the team and asked for focus on the match against Cabofriense.

"If I play with Wallace or Juan, I'll be very happy. I saw them on television, so there's no explaining why I have that kind of experience. Now it's a serious, championship game. We don't want to lose. Of course, we have extra pressure because of what we did against Fluminense. Everyone will expect the same or more," he concluded.
