Nation launches contest to choose Flamengo's new theme song
With the participation of a specialized jury, the initiative will involve the participation of members and a popular vote; find out how to participate
By Flamengo Communication - inClube de Regatas do Flamengo celebrates 125 years of glory this Sunday (15). As part of the anniversary celebrations, Nação is launching a contest to choose Mengão's new song. The initiative will bring together a specialized jury composed of players, fans, digital influencers and music personalities, who will help choose the song that will be recorded with renowned red-and-black artists.
Registration will be open to all Flamengo fans. Interested parties should participate as follows:
1. Record an audio of up to 50 seconds singing the created song and send the audio via WhatsApp to the number (21) 98125-1815;
2. Inform your full name, city and state in the message;
3. In addition to the above data, send the complete lyrics of the created song (in text).
Instructions:
a) Audio files longer than the stipulated time of 50 seconds will not be accepted;
b) The recording may contain only voice or accompanied by one or more instruments and even a full band;
c) Song lyrics cannot contain insults, insults or provocations towards other teams.
d) The word Nation must be part of the song, as it reflects the importance of our fans. After all, "we are a Nation"!
e) Any musical style will be allowed;
f) All songs must be original; parodies or plagiarism will not be permitted.
g) Words and expressions that should be part of the song:
- Nation (focus of the song)
- Flamengo (can be in variations such as Mengo/Mengão/Mais Querido)
- Red-black or red-black
- Biggest Fan Base in the World
Those who wish to participate must follow the instructions above and agree to the following steps:
1. In the first phase, the participant must only send the audio, as video auditions will not be permitted;
2. The first round (with a specialized jury), after the end of registrations, will select the ten best songs;
3. The second round, with the ten selected songs, will be subject to popular voting on Flamengo's website to choose the three best;
4. The three most voted songs will go to the final and will be professionally recorded, in the studio with specialized musicians;
5. The professional recordings of the three songs will be made available for exclusive voting by Nação fan members;
6. The winning song will have a new recording with full production, in the studio, with the participation of red-and-black artists;
7. The winning composer will receive an exclusive Nação kit and several licensed Flamengo gifts.
