Nação Rubro-Negra promotes raffles for Fan Members

Prizes such as autographed shirts, trips within and outside Brazil and Xbox have already brought joy to program members.

In nearly seven years, the Nação Rubro-Negra Program has grown in membership and benefits. During this time, Flamengo fan members have enjoyed priority ticket purchasing throughout the season, discounts at official stores and partners, unique experiences like Match Day, ticket redemption, exclusive VIP areas, children's field admission, and many other unforgettable moments. Since the end of last year, fans of the World's Most Beloved have also had the chance to participate in unprecedented sweepstakes that included international and domestic trips, as well as jerseys autographed by soccer stars and even an Xbox.

One of the biggest new developments in 2018 was the launch of these sweepstakes, which have already attracted over 51 entries across 16 editions. Nação members can exchange their points to participate, and the prizes are varied. Through this system, fan members have already won all-expenses-paid trips to watch Mengão at Maracanã, in the United States, and in Ecuador, autographed jerseys from new signings and top soccer names, and an Xbox. The goal is to further increase the number of experiences like these throughout the year.

How the draw works

The Nação Rubro-Negra program guarantees that the draws are conducted safely and without any bias toward the winners. This includes experiences in exchange for points, not even in the draws.

When a member registers for a lottery, a five-digit number is randomly generated by the Nação system and is available for consultation by the member. Each ST has a unique number, like a lottery ticket. The winning ticket is drawn exclusively by Caixa Federal Lottery. The winning number is chosen based on the last digit of each Federal Lottery draw, as shown in the image below. If there are no ST numbers in the Nação database with the same five digits as those drawn, the winner is chosen by approximation.

Unforgettable experiences

Among the rescues initiated this year, the main one is the raffle for players' autographed Sacred Mantles. So far, three De Arrascaeta jerseys, two Gabriel Barbosa jerseys, and one each from Bruno Henrique, Diego, Diego Alves, and Rodrigo Caio have been up for grabs. To satisfy all fans, the prizes were awarded based on the numbers each player wears on their playing uniforms.

More than three thousand people exchanged 50 points and also participated in the drawing for an Xbox One X. The drawing, held in January of this year, was won by Douglas Solo, who stopped by Gávea and collected his prize.

Six members have already been drawn for the "Nação Te Leva" experience, which allows one fan and a companion to travel with all expenses paid—including airfare, lodging, meals, and transportation—to important Flamengo matches. The draws were held for matches against Palmeiras, Santos, and Atlético-PR in late 2018, the Florida Cup, and the Conmebol Libertadores clashes against LDU, both at Maracanã and in Ecuador.
