Flamengo president Patricia Amorim met with coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo for about three hours this Monday (October 04.10th). The two sides talked extensively, but an agreement has not yet been reached. The Flamengo president assessed the negotiation as positive and is now awaiting a response from the coach, which should be given by early afternoon on Tuesday (October 05.10th).
The project under discussion would last just over two years (until the end of 2012). Vanderlei Luxemburgo presented a work proposal to Flamengo, who made a counter-proposal. This is currently being analyzed by the coach.
The outcome of the negotiation will be announced on Flamengo's official website as soon as the club receives a response from Luxemburgo.
