Thursday morning was marked by a tactical training session led by coach Ney Franco. The coach plans to announce the team that will travel to Goiânia on Friday to face Goiás on Sunday at 16 p.m. at Serra Dourada Stadium.

Ney Franco repeated the tactical scheme he used the day before, when he conducted the first tactical training session of the week. This time, Léo Medeiros started the training session as the starting midfielder, replacing Paulinho. Renato played a little further forward, with Souza and Renato Augusto forming the attacking duo.

"I've played in several positions at Flamengo, and the important thing is that everyone knows how the team plays. We have a clear understanding of what Ney Franco expects, so it's easy. The change in the team won't cause any problems," says Renato.

In some games in 2007, Renato had already played as the most advanced midfielder. In fact, this was his role in 2005, when he joined Flamengo. Although he sees himself closer to the goal, the Flamengo player doesn't believe that scoring goals will become an easy task.

"Of course, it makes it easier to finish, but people are marking me more. I think it's a bit of recognition for my good form. I hope they continue to mark me a lot and that, with this, there will be space for others to score goals. The important thing is Flamengo winning," he guarantees.

Léo Medeiros celebrated his chance on the team.

"It's important to clarify that this was an experiment Ney Franco conducted during training. We'll wait for him to decide the team. But the opportunity was given, and I hope to deliver. The responsibility is great because Flamengo needs to get its first win in the Brazilian Championship."
