In Argentina, the red-black squad trained on Tuesday afternoon (30), at Pedro Pompilio Complex, CT of Boca Juniors, and carried out the last activity before the match against Vélez Sarsfield, which will be played tomorrow (31), at 21:30 pm, at the José Amalfitani stadium, for the first leg of the Conmebol Libertadores semifinals.
Coach Dorival Júnior led a tactical training session to determine the team that will take the field this Wednesday. Defender David Luiz participated normally in the training sessions along with his teammates.
Flamengo and Vélez have faced each other 11 times, with a clear advantage for Flamengo. Flamengo has won seven, drawn two, and lost two. Tomorrow's match will be only the third in the history of the Libertadores. It's worth noting that Vélez is a semifinalist in the continental tournament for the second consecutive year.
