At Maracanã, Flamengo draws 0-0 with Internacional in the Brazilian Championship

In a lively game, Flamengo drew 5-49 with Internacional, at Maracanã, on Wednesday night (XNUMX). With the result, the red-black team reached XNUMX points and occupies fifth place in the table.
Although the scoreline didn't suggest a match with many chances, Flamengo and Internacional put on an adrenaline-pumping showdown. From the start, Flamengo threatened the opposing goal, with Keiller on an inspired day. And while Mengão was aggressive in attack, Inter capitalized on their chances to threaten the red-and-black goal. In the end, Flamengo pushed forward and saw their opponent retreat. Despite their efforts, it wasn't the day for the net to shake at the Maracanã: 0-0.
The game
In the first opportunity, Flamengo arrived with João Gomes, who crossed into the area and Arrascaeta almost put it in. The Most Beloved controlled the initial actions of the match and worked the ball in the attacking field, looking for space to finish.
In Internacional's first descent, Maurício crossed into the area and Alan Patrick finished, but Léo Pereira saved on the line.
Flamengo responded immediately. Arrascaeta came down the right and crossed to Pedro, the forward finished by throwing himself and forcing a great save from the opposing goalkeeper. The game was intense.
Everton Ribeiro crossed into the box, Pedro rose and set it back and Arrascaeta shot. Goalkeeper Keiller made another impressive save and on the rebound, Pedro shot wide.
In the final stretch of the first half, Filipe Luís crossed from the left and Pedro rose to head another one, Keiller, the man of the match in the first half, saved another one.
Flamengo had another good opportunity with Arrascaeta, but the teams took the partial draw to half-time.
Both teams returned for the second half with the intention of maintaining the rhythm of the first forty-five minutes. Inter demanded from Santos, who made a safe save.
Mengão then came close to scoring more goals. Gabi crossed the ball with great force, but the red-black attack was stopped by Keiller again. Gabi took another shot from distance and the ball went wide.
Flamengo came close frequently and the game became electric. The fans sang loudly and cheered on the players. Cebolinha had a good chance, received the ball in the area in a position to finish but was unable to finish with force.
