This Tuesday (15), at Ninho do Urubu, defender Gustavo Henrique was officially presented to the Rubro-Negra Nation. The 26-year-old player signed for four years with Mais Querido. In a press conference in the Victorino Chermont Press Room, the new number 2 of Mengão showed his happiness at wearing the Sacred Mantle.

"I'm very happy. I appreciate the kind words, it's a dream come true. I'm delighted with the facilities, everything is very beautiful and organized. Now I'm going to do my job, seek titles and make history. I chose Flamengo because of the great project. We have many opportunities and that motivates me," he said.

When asked about his motivation for the season, the defender was emphatic.

"I'm here to contribute, to help Flamengo win titles. If I don't get the results I expect, I'll feel bad. What the fans can expect is that there will be clashes with opposing strikers."
