After finishing the first stage of the Taça Guanabara undefeated, Flamengo takes the field this Saturday (10) to face Botafogo. The classic, valid for the competition's semifinal, will determine who will face Boavista in the final. Boavista arrives at the match buoyed by four wins in five games in the group stage. With the better record, Flamengo has the advantage of a draw. The spot in the final will be a single game. The final will be played on February 18th, next Sunday.

The club's newly arrived center forward has been named in the squad for the match and is available to coach Paulo César Carpegiane. His starting lineup will still be decided at the stadium, but the striker will have his first exposure to the nation at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium.
