This Saturday (13), Flamengo and Fluminense face each other at 17 pm, at Maracanã, for the 29th round of the Brazilian Championship. Remember below four clashes that are marked in the history of the classic. 

Recovering from injury and amid strong doubts about whether he was still the Zico of yesteryear, the top scorer in the Fla-Flu derby took to the field on February 16, 1986, to silence the Maracanã, in a match valid for the opening of the Carioca Championship. Scoring three goals, Zico made the opposing fans swallow their chants of "Injured!", "Injured!". That's how, moments before the ball rolled, the Fluminense fans greeted the Flamengo star on the pitch.

In the first half, Flamengo's number 10 scored with a diving header after a great cross from Adílio. And the cries of injury disappeared. Fluminense pulled one back through Leomir, converting a penalty, at the end of the first half. 

It was in the second half that Zico finally silenced the opposing fans. In the 26th minute, the "Little Rooster" (Zico's nickname) was fouled twice on the edge of the penalty area and took the free kick. The Fluminense goalkeeper could only pray, because the ball was destined for the back of the net. After Zico's spectacular goal, Bebeto scored Flamengo's third. One-on-one with Vica, the number 7 unleashed a powerful, low shot across goal. To seal the great performance he had been having, Zico converted a penalty won by Bebeto, giving the final score of Flamengo 4 x 1 Fluminense. 

Without Zico, who had retired the previous season, the 1991 Campeonato Carioca was special for Flamengo fans, who saw Júnior lead the talented generation of homegrown players. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Flamengo and Fluminense faced each other again in the Carioca final on December 19, 91, at the Maracanã.

Despite Flamengo's pressure for most of the first half, it was Fluminense who opened the scoring with Ézio. After the break, the crowd pushed Flamengo forward and anxiously watched Uidemar's header equalize. With the score tied, the chant of "Go Flamengo, we will be champions!" echoed in the Maracanã with almost 50 fans. Fluminense had two players sent off, leaving plenty of space for Flamengo's attack. In the 32nd minute, Nélio headed the ball down for Zinho to volley home a powerful shot. Three to one! Shortly after, Fluminense pulled one back through Ézio. To finish it off perfectly, the maestro needed to score. If in two games Zico and Júnior, idols of the Nation, marked the history of FlaxFlu. Now, let's talk about epic comebacks that are part of the classic's memory. On the first day of February 2004, at the Maracanã, Flamengo and Fluminense faced each other in the second round of the Taça Guanabara. 

Two days after turning 38, Romário, playing for Fluminense, had the energy of a young man on the field. Jean opened the scoring for Flamengo, but the diminutive striker, playing brilliantly, scored twice and even provided an assist for Rodolfo to make it 3-1 for the team from Laranjeiras.

Romário's performance was accompanied by chants of "Olé!", "Olé!", but the game only ends after 90 minutes. The Flamengo fans responded by pushing and supporting the team. Then, in the 24th minute of the second half, Felipe reduced the deficit. In six minutes, the inspired full-back Roger Guerreiro scored twice to turn the score around for Flamengo. Four to three for Flamengo, and by this point, what could be heard in the Maracanã was: "Dust, dust, dust, the dust rose!"

On January 31, 2010, another 3-1 defeat for Fluminense crumbled against Flamengo, in the fifth round of the Taça Guanabara. Fluminense, with Conca in the lineup, seemed unbeatable that night. Alan, who came on for Fred (who was injured moments before the match), opened the scoring for Fluminense. In the 40th minute of the first half, Conca converted a penalty won by Alan, making it 2-0. Flamengo also had a penalty in their favor in the 45th minute. Adriano Imperador took the kick and scored. Fluminense responded with a goal from Cássio, and the first half ended 3-1 for the team from Laranjeiras.

What seemed improbable happened in the second half. The turnaround came with Andrade making changes to the team and Flamengo improved. Adriano challenged the opposing defense inside the area and the ball fell to Vagner Love. The "Love Striker" didn't miss and reduced the score to 3-2.

The fans were still celebrating when Vinicius Pacheco set up Kleberson, who equalized the score at 3-3. With one player less, Alvaro was sent off in the 17th minute with a second yellow card, and Flamengo took advantage of counter-attacks. It was in this way that Pacheco found Adriano in the box to turn the score around.
